He was a first year student at Inspire High School and appears to be the only Fair View High School graduate elected to public office so far. In early adulthood he traveled widely, living in Texas, central Mexico, and Montreal; and since 2019 has resided in the West Aves in Chico. Prior to taking office, Addison worked and volunteered for Chico Housing Action Team, Safe Space Winter Shelter, and Butte Environmental Council. He was elected as the first District 4 representative in 2022.
